Spanish wine has grown immensely during the last three decades, claiming a place between the top world producers with regards to quality. Spanish wines are competing in a market ruled by French, Californian and Australian wines, and they still have a lot of ground to catch up on.
The modern methods have made their way through the vineyards all over the country, introducing concepts such as, the effective control of grapevines, a constant watch over the primary aroma of the fruits, order in the Wineries and spotless elaboration processes.
These days Spanish wines find themselves in a privileged position as the world is starting to get to know all the other denomination of origin (D.O.) apart from Rioja; introducing wines of the highest qualities with many different characteristics.
