This amazing wine from the Navarra region has 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Tempranillo. Kept 9 months in American and French Oak casks, and 6 months in bottle, makes one of the nicest wines from this winery – Vega del Castillo.
Because of its grape composition this wine delivers a pleasant fruit aroma and taste. Vega Del Castillo refers to this wine as an ‘Author Wine’, they assigned a unique name and it is made from the top Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo grapes that yield every year.
This wine has a profound surface colour of deep burgundy; the hints of vanilla, spices, nutmeg…are blended together making this something that can not be missed. It sits between the top three recommendations we got from all our customers.
Other characteristics of this wine are that it is very well structured, clean and meaty. Finally this wine has it all, presentation, pleasant to the palate and lot to offer.
